Tabitha Harmon Corbin Death: Drug dealer found dead from overdose
Tabitha Harmon Corbin Death: Family and friends of a Corbin, KY woman who passed away from addiction have called for awareness following the illegal use of drugs in the neighborhood. A 32-year-old mother of three was found dead from a drug overdose Monday night. According to reports, Tabitha Harmon died from methamphetamine.
According to initial reports, Tabitha was a known Methamphetamine dealer in the neighborhood. in October 2016, she was arrested by law enforcement agencies in Whitley County. Deputies from the Whitley County Sheriff’s Office said they responded to a trespassing allegation at a home on Maple Creek Road on Saturday and made contact with a lady who informed them her name was Ashley Harmon. When a deputy told her he felt that was a phony name, she allegedly fled.
A deputy pursued her into a briar bush, eventually apprehending her and arresting her. Investigators said they learned the woman’s genuine name is Tabitha Harmon of Corbin with the help of Whitley County E911 dispatchers and the Whitley County Detention Center.
According to investigators, the 25-year-old had three outstanding arrest warrants, one of which was for allegedly trafficking in methamphetamine. She was also charged with giving an officer a false name, fleeing or evading police, and resisting arrest, according to reports. She was incarcerated at the Whitley County Detention Center.
