Jordan Robinson Waterbury CT Homicide: A 22-year-old Waterbury CT star football player has been identified as the victim who passed away in a deadly shooting on Kenyon Street Monday. Jordan Robinson died after he was shot multiple times by an unidentified suspect.

Robinson was a star football player in the city and played for Sacred Heart, Holy Cross, and Cheshire Academy. He also played football at the University of New Haven.

Police officers responded to Kenyon Street at 4:39 p.m. after receiving reports that someone had been shot and they found a man lying in the road, unresponsive.

He was brought to Saint Mary’s Hospital, where he died soon after, police said. Police later identified the victim as 22-year-old Jordan Robinson, of Waterbury.

The Waterbury Police Department’s major crime detectives are investigating.

According to the Waterbury Observer, Robinson was a star football player in the city and played for Sacred Heart, Holy Cross, and Cheshire Academy. He also played football at the University of New Haven. WPD Major Crimes detectives are actively investigating this crime.
