Andrea Kolbe Obituary: Andrea Kolbe of Huntington, New York, has sadly passed away, she was a Dance Teacher and Co-Owner at Art In Motion Dance Center Inc.

Kolbe was said to have died by suicide.

Andrea Kolbe was a native of Gaithersburg, Maryland and she lived in Huntington, New York. Kolbe went to Damascus High School and studied Dance at Hofstra University.

Andrea Kolbe, originally from Maryland, began her dance training at Ballet 106 and American Dance Institute. She continued her dance training and education at Hofstra University, where she graduated with a BA in Dance. While at Hofstra, she performed works by Robin Becker, Rachel List, and Karla Wolfangle. Andrea has been a dance teacher with Art in Motion Dance Center since its first season in September 2010.

She was an active teacher for both recreational and competitive dance classes at Art in Motion. Besides teaching dance, Andrea has a passion for traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family.
