Shooting in Bunnell: Authorities in Bunnell, Florida, are investigating a shooting incident that occurred in South Bunnell, leaving a man injured. The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call on Saturday, just before 10:30 p.m., reporting a shooting at 500 S. Drain Street.

Upon arrival, law enforcement found a man who had been shot. Investigators believe that a confrontation occurred approximately a block away on South Anderson Street, near Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue. Shortly after the altercation, the shooting took place, and several individuals reportedly fled the scene.

Authorities have stated that it is unclear whether the gunshot victim was directly involved in the initial fight or was specifically targeted in the shooting. The victim was airlifted to the Trauma Unit at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach. Police have confirmed that the victim’s condition is currently stable.

The Bunnell Police Department is leading the investigation, with assistance from the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office.
