Sean Mikovitch Obituary: Wyoming Valley West High School Alumnus Sean Mikovitch of Old Forge, Pennsylvania has sadly passed away.

Sean Mikovitch was a 2018 graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School, where he made his mark as #23 on the football field. Sean grew up in Dallas and Swoyersville, Pennsylvania. Sean showcased not only athletic prowess but also a remarkable spirit of teamwork and dedication.

He found solace in the great outdoors, with passions for fishing, hunting, and wake surfing. When Sean laughed, it was hard not to join him. He had an extraordinary sense of humor that brightened the darkest days. His wit and infectious laughter left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to share a smile, reminding us that joy, even in life’s challenges, is a timeless gift.

Sean leaves behind his mother Melissa and partner Brad Evans, his father John and stepmother Melissa Mikovitch, his brother Connor, his siblings Augustus, Haydn, and Abigail, his grandparents John B. and Gyl Mikovitch of Duryea and Mark Sniscak of Nesquehoning, his nephew Julian and niece Aurora, his partner Bria Barcola, and sons Cooper and Stone, as well as numerous other family members. His nana, Nancy Sniscak, and his grandfather, Leonard Fredericks, both predeceased him.

A funeral mass will be held on December 16, 2023, at 10 a.m. at Prince of Peace Parish, 123 W. Grace St., Old Forge, PA.
