A fatal hit-and-run collision in Kitsap County claimed the life of an individual on Thursday morning, as reported by the Washington State Patrol. Around 1 a.m., troopers swiftly responded to the collision report on State Route 3 at Sunnyslope.

In response to the tragic incident, State Route 3 was temporarily closed in both directions.
