Terry Geaghan Obituary: Owner of Shipmaster’s Gallery passed away

Terry Geaghan Obituary

Terry Geaghan Obituary: Terry Geaghan, owner/operator of LRKC, passed away on Thursday afternoon, surrounded by his family after a too-short battle with cancer.

Terry Geaghan was a resident of Woolwich, Maine. He studied at the University of Maine and went to Brewer High School.

Terry never met a stranger in his life; his warm, compassionate, and often hilarious personality had a way of disarming people, and he could always find a common thread.

After speaking with staff members, it has been decided to keep LRKC open for regular hours this weekend. There is so much of him still inside these walls, and we find comfort in being here and sharing that feeling with all of you.

Mollie will be taking a step back over the next while to mourn the loss of her father, business partner, and best friend but is grateful and humbled by the huge outpouring of love and support from the community and beyond.

The family is planning a public celebration of life to be held in the clubhouse sometime in May, and we will keep you updated once plans have been made. Terry’s legacy of kindness, humor, love, and community service will continue to inspire us all.
