According to reports, Jason Cachuela shot and killed his wife following an altercation at the parking lot of the Bank of Hawaii. The shooting happened at approximately 10 A.M.

HPD stated that the department was looking for Jason Cachuela who fatally shot his partner. According to a family member of the victim, Jason Cachuela passed away from an apparent suicide by shooting moments after killing his partner Theresa Cachuela. The tragic incident happened just near the Bank of Hawaii and Pali Momi Hospital this morning.

A family friend identified the victim of the domestic incident as Theresa Cachuela. According to the family, Theresa Cachuela was a lover of life, she endured abuse from Jason and was fatally shot following an argument. “There’s no excuse for domestic abuse and violence against women needs to stop,” a grieving friend wrote.

Theresa Cachuela was a dedicated wife, sister, friend, and daughter. She was a well-known female respected for her hardworking spirit, a friend stated. The cause of her death will forever be a nightmare to everyone who knew her.
