Nancy Jean Aliber Obituary: Leawood, Kansas, Women died at 76

Nancy Jean Aliber Obituary: Nancy J. Aliber, age 76, of Leawood, Kansas, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 11, 2023.

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Nicole Fisher, and her husband David, her grandchildren: Tristan, Iris, and Frances, and Nancy’s sister, Dorothy Kulp, and family. Nancy was born in Springfield, Missouri, and moved around as a child, living on multiple Air Force bases including in Japan and Germany. While attending Southwest Missouri State University, she met the love of her life, Steve Aliber. They moved to Kansas City and shortly thereafter began a family.

Nancy was active in her church, Colonial Presbyterian, and enjoyed Bible Studies, small groups, volunteering, book club, and bunco groups. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, William and Dorothy Britain, her son, Matthew Todd Aliber, and her loving husband, Steve.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Colonial Presbyterian Church, 9500 Wornall Rd., KCMO, 64114 on January 17, 2024, at 10:00 am. Contributions/Flowers may be sent in Nancy’s name to Colonial Presbyterian Church.
