Hayden Stanley Death: Former Camp WOW Staff Hayden Stanley affectionately known to many as “Meatball” has tragically passed away. He was introduced to Camp WOW as a camper and wrangler with AFCC Cowboy Camps. Hayden Stanley, a longtime resident of Gilmer, Texas was announced dead today, Thursday, the 21st of December 2023.

About Hayden Stanley

Hayden was born and raised in Gilmer, Texas. He graduated from Harmony High School. Hayden first experienced Camp WOW as both a camper and a wrangler with AFCC Cowboy Camps. For the past three summers, he dedicated his time to working on the WOW staff. In the most recent summer, he took on the role of Green Team Leader on the Rockwall.

Hayden actively participated in every retreat he could, giving the impression that he was a constant presence at the camp. His connection to Camp WOW was profound, making his loss feel like that of a family member.

He was an outstanding young man, notable for his strong faith and dedication to serving the Lord. Hayden had a passion for bringing joy to others through laughter, and his love for Camp WOW was palpable.
