Gloria Fields Obituary: Gloria Fields, a beacon of unwavering dedication, love, and strength for her family, passed away in Corbin, KY, on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at the age of 97.

Born in Farler, KY, on May 6, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Dulcena Cornett Caudill and Lyttle Caudill.

Throughout her life, Gloria found joy in the simple pleasures: quilting, tending to her flowers, and treasure-hunting at yard sales. Her greatest pride was caring for her family, embodying the essence of a homemaker. Gloria attended West Corbin Christian Church, where her faith was a guiding light.

On September 21, 1948, Gloria embarked on a journey of love and companionship with her devoted husband Earl Fields. Together, they nurtured a family filled with love and warmth.

She leaves behind a legacy cherished by her surviving children: Diann Hoskins & husband Delaney, Fred Fields & wife Stella, Mary Phillips & husband Dale, Kay Hensley & husband Jeff, Marsha Maggard & husband Jack, Kim Dugger & husband James.

The funeral service for Mrs. Gloria Fields will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 25, 2024, at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home in Hyden, with Rev.

Interment will follow the service at the W.H. Caudill Cemetery at Mason’s Creek, KY. Friends may pay their respects during visitation on Sunday, March 24th, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
