Benish Shah Death-Obituary: Benish Shah, an Award-winning COO/CMO, Go-to-market strategist, and workplace design expert died on Saturday, the 9th of December 2023.

Benish is an award-winning, industry-agnostic go-to-market leader and workplace design expert with more than 10 years of experience taking companies and products to market and growing organizations.

Known for growing nascent industries with first-mover initiatives, she’s worked across CPG, SaaS, media, web3, non-profit, DTC, and fashion. Her work has won awards including Fast Company’s Innovation by Design Award, multiple CLIO Awards, and Digiday and Webby honors.

She also won the 2019 Amazing Women in e-Commerce Award. Currently, she’s advising The Other and Motivote, while serving on the Board of Greyston and the Advisory Board of Hello Neighbor.

She writes a column at The Muse on identifying and working through toxic workplaces. Benish is represented by Arc Literary Management and is working on her next book.

Sincere condolences to the family of Sister Benish Adeel Shah who passed away recently. Sister Benish is the dear daughter of Brother Adeel A. Shah and Sister Musarrat Shah of Ft. Washington, MD. She is also the niece of Brother Nehal Shah and family and, a long-time volunteer at the Muslim Community Center (MCC) in Silver Spring, MD.

May Allah SWT accept her good deeds and grant her Jannatul Firdaus and may Allah (SWT) also grant her family patience and ease, Ameen.

The Janazah Salah for Sister Benish Shah will be held on Monday, December 11, 2023, after Dhuhr Salah at 12:30 pm at The Prince George’s Muslim Association (PGMA) 9150 Lanham Severn Rd., Lanham, MD 20706, (301) 459-4942

Burial will follow immediately afterward at Maryland National Memorial Cemetery, 13300 Baltimore Ave, (Rt One), Laurel, MD 20707 (301) 210-6464
