Austin Kirk Obituary

Austin Kirk Obituary: Austin Tyler Kirk, aged 25, of Sharon, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 29, 2024, in his home gym, a place where he found immense joy and fulfillment. It was a space he never missed visiting, cherishing each moment spent there. On that fateful Friday, he even brought his son along to witness him achieve a new personal record of 390 pounds on the bench press.

Born in Erie on July 25, 1998, Austin was the beloved son of Kellie (Daugherty) Yobe and Adam Kirk. He graduated from Sharon High School in 2016, actively participating in baseball and basketball. Austin dedicated himself to his job at the City of Sharon Street Department, finding great satisfaction and pride in his work. His unparalleled work ethic was a testament to his character.

Austin was an avid supporter of all Pittsburgh sports teams, with a special devotion to the Steelers. Since 2004, he never missed watching a single play of a game, particularly relishing the performances of his favorite player, Ben Roethlisberger, whom he admired so greatly that he named his son Benjamin in his honor.
