Wayne Stafford Death-Obituary: Wayne Stafford, the producer of Mrs. South Africa, passed away unexpectedly on November 28, 2023.

The Oklahoma City community is mourning the loss of Wayne Stafford, a popular anchor for KOKH’s Good Day OK show.

Wayne Stafford is survived by his wife, Maria, and his son, George, who was born in 2022.

Wayne Stafford was born in Denver, Colorado, on June 15, 1987. He graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in journalism and mass communication in 2009.

He began his career as a reporter and multimedia journalist for KOLN/KGIN in Lincoln, Nebraska, where he worked from 2009 to 2012.

He then moved to WVVA in Bluefield, West Virginia, where he worked as a reporter and anchor from 2012 to 2015.

He joined KOKH in Oklahoma City in 2017 as an anchor for Good Day OK, the station’s morning show. Stafford was known for his energetic and engaging style of reporting and anchoring.

With a career spanning over 25 years in the entertainment and fashion industry, Wayne began producing events at a remarkable age of 17.

He received several awards and recognitions for his work in journalism, including an Emmy nomination in 2020.

Wayne Stafford’s funeral will be held on December 2, 2023, at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Oklahoma City.
