Stefano Cherchi Obituary: boyfriend of Kieran Fallon’s daughter dies after fall

Stefano Cherchi Obituary: Italian jockey Stefano Cherchi has passed away at the tender age of 23 after a fall in Australia. The Sardinian-born rider was participating in races Down Under when the unfortunate incident occurred in Canberra two weeks prior.

Cherchi, known for his successes riding winners in the UK under the tutelage of trainer Marco Botti, had been placed in an induced coma in the intensive care unit of a Canberra hospital due to a severe head injury and internal bleeding sustained during the accident on March 20.
