Nysia Rengifo Missing: 13-year-old Ronkonkoma Middle School student

Nysia Rengifo Missing: 13-year-old Nysia Rengifo was last seen around 5 p.m. on Friday, March 15th, leaving her home on Rose Drive. Her disappearance was reported to the police at 8 p.m. that same night, sparking a search effort that has continued since.

Connetquot Central School District Superintendent Joseph Centamore has appealed to the public for assistance in locating Nysia. In a social media post, he stated, “The school district has been in close communication with her family, as well as the Suffolk County Police Department 4th Precinct. An extensive search began last night and has continued into today.”

Nysia is described as approximately 5 feet tall, with hazel eyes and medium-length brown/dark hair. She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, shorts, and crocs. It is believed she has no phone or belongings with her.

Anyone with information about Nysia’s whereabouts is urged to contact the authorities immediately.
