Joe Renfro Obatuary: Joe Renfro, 82, of Mount Sterling, passed away on Friday evening, March 29, 2024 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Mount Sterling.

Born on February 14, 1942, in Madison County, Joe was the beloved son of the late Homer and Blanche Garrett Renfro. Throughout his life, Joe wore many hats, serving as a dedicated drywall contractor and lifelong farmer.

He found joy in simple pleasures, particularly in activities such as fishing, gardening, and cooking. Joe’s passion for sports extended beyond his personal interests, as he spent several years coaching Women’s Softball. Additionally, he had a keen interest in collecting pocket knives and caps, indulging in these hobbies with enthusiasm and dedication. Joe leaves behind a legacy of hard work, kindness, and a zest for life that will be cherished by all who knew him.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:30 PM Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home, W. Main St., Richmond with Pastor James Hendrix and Johny Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 12:00PM (Noon), Wednesday, at the funeral home.
