Fiona Gallacher Death Cause: A young mother tragically passed away on March 22, 2024, just weeks after discovering that her ‘pregnant belly’ was cancer.

Fiona Gallacher, 33, had been experiencing severe stomach pains for about two months before receiving the devastating news of stage four adenocarcinoma on January 8.

Fiona, a mother of four from Holytown in North Lanarkshire, initially thought she was pregnant again as she suffered from bouts of sickness and noticed her abdomen swelling.

However, a pregnancy test came back negative, prompting her to seek medical help at A&E. Doctors quickly realized the severity of her condition, and Fiona underwent emergency surgery to remove parts of her bowels and ovary.

Following the surgery, further tests revealed the advanced stage of her cancer, and she was given a prognosis of six months to a year.
