Dennis Earl George Maschmeyer will be remembered as a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Dennis passed away at the age of 84 on Sunday, January 21st, 2024.

Born May 13th, 1939, to George and Emma Maschmeyer, Dennis was raised in the community of Bruderheim, Alberta, his obituary said. Shortly after graduating from the University of Alberta with a degree in Chemical Engineering, Dennis married his soul mate, Karol Anita (Lewis), on December 29th, 1962 and together they raised their children on the family farm in Bruderheim.

Dennis’ greatest pride and focus was upon his family. He will best be remembered for his love, passion, and commitment to put family foremost. Every member of his family will agree that Dennis was always willing to offer sound advice, play competitive games, win quarters from lost bets, and supply quizzes.
