Tiffany Render Whitehaven killed by Paul Irwin, 50, of George Street

Tiffany Render Whitehaven Death: Paul Irwin, aged 50, of George Street, Whitehaven is charged with the murder of Tiffany Render, 34 also of Whitehaven.

Police have charged a man with the murder of a woman in West Cumbria. Paul Irwin was also charged with sexual assault.

Irwin appeared before Workington Magistrates Court today (26 March) and was remanded into custody. He is due to appear before Carlisle Crown Court tomorrow (27 March).

The charge follows an investigation after officers were called to a property on George Street, Whitehaven at around 11:45 pm on 22 March 2024.
