Jose Jimenez Obituary: Russell Springs, man died at 72

Jose Jimenez Obituary: Jose Ramon Jimenez, age 72, of Russell Springs, KY, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

He was born on December 21, 1951, in Jesus Maria Jalisco, the son of Josefina Fuentes and Nicolas Jimenez.

Jose is survived by his loving wife, Lucila Herrera de Jimenez, of Russell Springs, KY, and their 8 daughters.

He is also survived by his 2 sons, Jose de Jesus Jimenez and Leonardo Jimenez, both of Russell Springs, KY, along with 24 grandchildren.

Jose was a dedicated farmer and a man of Catholic faith. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Eastern Time on Monday, March 25, 2024, at St. Mildred Catholic Church, 203 S Central Avenue, Somerset, KY. Visitation will take place at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY, from 5 PM Central Time on Sunday, March 24, 2024.

Interment will follow at Russell Springs Cemetery, 1516 Lakeway Drive, Russell Springs, KY.

Jose will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
