Iain Hanna Obituary: Main Street Blues Band Member, Iain Hanna of Perth, Scotland passed away peacefully on Sunday 26 November 2023.

His journey began as a Project Manager at Microlise Ltd, where he led a team of 5 developers, managed negotiations for specification changes, and oversaw overall project management from 1990 to 1997.

Subsequently, Iain transitioned to ITNET, assuming the role of Project Manager from 1997 to 1998. Here, he excelled in presales and bid management activities, crafted precise Project Terms Of Reference, and ensured project delivery within specified budgets and timelines.

His tenure at BASF IT Services Ltd spanned an impressive 9 years and 4 months, from August 1999 to November 2008. As a Client and Account Manager, Iain played a pivotal role in developing key accounts across the UK, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Ireland, and Lithuania. Additionally, he successfully expanded the client base by cultivating new accounts from leads provided by the company.

Transitioning into the healthcare sector, Iain served as the E-Rostering Project Team Manager at Cheshire and Wirral NHS Partnership Trust for 2 years and 3 months, from July 2009 to September 2011. Here, he effectively managed the delivery and implementation of a new electronic rostering solution across the Cheshire and Wirral Trust.

Following this, he assumed the role of Interim Operations Manager at DMC Healthcare in London for 4 months, from November 2011 to February 2012.
