Lethel Ann Long Obituary, Wayne, Michigan, women died at 97

Lethel Ann Long Obituary: Lethel Ann Laura Strubel Long, aged 97, passed away on March 29, 2024, at Ridgecrest Manor and Rehab Nursing Facility in Duffield, Virginia.

She was born on April 8, 1926, in Wayne County, Michigan, to Melvin S. and Irene (Longton) Laura. Lethel was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her siblings, Melvin and Francis Laura, stepsister Shirley Vance, and stepmother Marry (Peggy) Laura Bell.

In 1948, Lethel married Charles Z. Struble in Rockwood, Michigan, and together they were blessed with six children. Later in life, she found love again and married Ronald F. Long.

Originally a lifelong resident of Carleton, Michigan, Lethel relocated to Nickelsville, Virginia, to reside with her daughter in December of 2023.

A funeral service to celebrate Lethel’s life will be held at Bobcean Funeral Home, Carleton Chapel, on Friday, April 5, 2024, at 1 pm.

Visitation will commence at 10 am until the time of service. Pastor Chris Butson of Willow United Methodist Church will officiate the service.
